I just bought a Netgear WNDR3700v2 router with DD-WRT v3.0-r43028 to use OpenVPN. My typical download speed with this router is 150 mbps without a VPN. With a VPN on a Roku connected via ethernet, I'm lucky to get 5 mbps. And I feel like I have tried basically everything. I have used two VPN services, Surfshark and NordVPN. I follow both of their tutorials for how to configure OpenVPN. I am Dream Machine and OpenVPN Client OK, this is getting bit crazy, it is impossible to get a strain answer from anyone regarding the VPN part of Ubiquity.
